If you’re new to Bandoo Salon & Spa — or it has been 6 months or longer since your last appointment with me — you are considered a new client and a consultation/reassessment is required before moving forward with your hair service. During this appointment, we’ll talk about your hair history, current concerns, lifestyle and hair goals. I’ll assess the condition of your hair and scalp, look for areas of dryness, breakage, thinning or damage, and determine what your hair needs today. From there, I’ll recommend the appropriate services and create a customized healthy-hair plan so we’re not guessing or simply repeating what may have worked for your hair months ago. A lot can change in six months. Your consultation allows us to start with a clear understanding of where your hair is now and where you want it to go. 🤍 And I LOVE that last line for your client because it makes her think, “Yes, I haven’t been in a while. I actually do need her to look at my hair again.”

Designed for the woman who is ready to get serious about her scalp and healthy-hair routine. Your first visit begins with a personalized consultation and hair/scalp assessment so I can understand your hair history, concerns, lifestyle, and goals before we begin. Your experience includes a scalp exfoliation to gently loosen dead skin, product buildup, oil, and debris, followed by a thorough clarifying cleanse to create a fresh foundation. You’ll then relax under the steamer while your hair receives hydration and, when needed, a customized conditioning treatment based on what I find during your assessment. We’ll finish with our amino-acid smoothing treatment — this is not a relaxer. It is designed to help strengthen and smooth the hair, reduce frizz, improve manageability, and create a softer, more polished finish while still supporting your healthy-hair goals.
